The Wild Rose has been treasured as a symbol of love and adoration since ancient times.
This Wild Rose will naturally transform with the seasons. In spring the sunshine encourages new, fresh, green leaves to unfurl from the Rose's prickly branches. The sweet-scented, deep-pink roses blossom all summer long and are loved by our bees and butterflies. In autumn bright red, fleshy hips ripen and they are wonderful for our garden birds.
An exclusively designed Wild Rose card will compliment your gift, leaving space for your own personal message, the ancient symbolism of the Rose and a full care guide is included.
Your Wild Plum tree will arrive growing in its own compostable pot and will happily grow in it for the next few weeks. The compost has added nutrients to ensure your tree continues to thrive, this organic goodness will gradually release into the soil over the next few months. All your tree needs from you is natural daylight and water - when the top soil is dry.
Please place your tree outside in its natural environment, even in chilly winter. In a few weeks, plant your Wild Plum tree, still in its compostable pot so the roots are not disturbed, in a large outdoor flower pot (one with holes so excess water can drain away) or plant in a sunny spot in the garden.
This Wild Rose is 35-450cm high, it is quite happy to be lightly pruned in winter and may reach a height of 2 metres in 5 years, if allowed to grow naturally.
