    We are a limited company set up by our Managing Director Lisa Dickinson. Lisa worked at a senior level in charities for many years and understands the sector very well. Recognising the untapped potential of online shopping she had the idea of setting up a marketplace designed to meet the needs of UK Charities to help them benefit from this lucrative market.

  • What sort of products do you sell?

    All our products come under the category of gift or lifestyle, we stock all kinds of alternative charity gifts from gardening tools to wedding accessories and we are adding exciting new products every week. We handpick our sellers and approve all products before they go online, so you can be confident that the site will always be ethical and appropriate for your supporters.

  • Where do the products come from?

    We are a marketplace - that means that all our products come from experienced third-party sellers. We don’t buy, store or dispatch products ourselves and that means we can showcase a huge and varied product range to your supporters.

  • What if goods are faulty or returned?

    Our sellers are very experienced, so we don’t expect many issues, but if problems do occur everything is sorted out electronically, so you won’t ever be involved unless it’s your own merchandise.

  • Is the site secure?

    The site is fully secure and GDPR compliant.

  • How do we get paid?

    You will be paid the 7% donation into your bank as soon as the sale is made.

  • Where does our 7% donation on sales come from?

    From our profit there’s no additional cost to the customer, unless they choose to give an extra donation at the checkout.

  • How much will it cost us to join?

    My Charity Marketplace is free for all UK registered charities. We want to make money for you - never take it away. If you sell your own merchandise we deduct 10% of the selling price of each item, this is not to make money from you, it just covers the costs of merchant processing and bank charges.
